The PCMI publishes a number of informative media dealing with the various facets of Photo Chemical Machining, and are available to members at discounted prices. These publications deal with environmental, artwork, and photo tooling, laser photo-plotted working film masters, raw materials, ferric chloride and photo resists. All publications are kept up to date by the various committees that are an integral part of the PCMI structure.

Communications are maintained by a full time Executive Director at the world headquarters in East Dennis. There is also a European office located at Wootton, Bedfordshire, England.

PCMI publishes a quarterly journal. Up to four copies of the journal are sent to each member company at no charge.

Newsletters and announcements are mailed to all the members on a regular basis. Of great importance is the "Annual Industry Survey". This survey allows the institute as well as all participating members to have an up-to-date picture of our industry.
