The PCMI has proven to be an outstanding example of what can be accomplished through the co-operative voluntary efforts of individual members in a trade association.

Through PCMI programs and activities, solutions to mutual problems have been accomplished by working together. This technique has proved more efficient and economical over the concept of working separately towards accomplishing similar goals.

Development of standards, technical reports, and technical seminars have provided benefits that allow our industry to make significant advances. These advances have not only brought advantages to members of the PCMI, but have also brought benefits to many of the industries that take advantage of this complementary technology used to produce such a large variety of parts.

PCMI is unique...

PCMI is different from most Trade Associations and Professional Societies because it represents a broad cross-section of all sections of the Photo Chemical Machining Industry's technology:

• It includes companies that are MANUFACTURERS and companies that are USERS of photo chemically machined parts.
• It includes companies that supply raw materials and equipment used to produce PCM products, and companies that provide services to the industry.

All members in the PCMI are on a company basis. Individual representatives from within each member company are then eligible to participate in all the programs and activities of the PCMI.
